Political strategist Jasper Hendricks is among a new cadre of young, black gay leaders working to create positive change in their communities. The Farmville, Virginia native and Norfolk State University graduate has built a solid reputation for mobilizing voters as the former director of the NAACP’s Youth and College Voter Empowerment Initiative. Today, he's launched his own political action committee, the BRAT-PAC, the Broader Representation Advocacy Team Political Action Committee.
